FM BlogWatch: Feb 21, 2009

And the FM Offside network keeps growing….

The two newest blogs on the block are:

FM Offside Lyon, where so far Corey has got us up to speed on digital Corey’s life in the gastronomic capital of the world, and his damn exciting transfer activity which involves selling big names like Govou, Kallstrom and Fred and investing in the future. You can see the list of exciting youngsters he’s enticed to O’L here.

Meanwhile, Thommo has been tinkering with the FM90 database to bring us FM Offside Celtic. Basically, he’s liberated Celtic from the Scottish Premier League and entered them into the English Premier League. Seems the plan is to not add to the squad – at least not to start with – and see how the current Celtic team cope in the other Prem.

On FM Offside Roma, Dhaw has been doing some thinkin about tactics and decided to play some champagne football. And it’s all started very nicely, with seven straight wins and a 2-2 draw against Barcelona in the Champions League. Sounds like Dhaw’s digital Totti is dominating too.

Meanwhile on FM Offside Palermo, Marco has put a lot of thought into his tactics and also proposed a radical idea: to end to the era of signing Brazilian wonderkids.

Outside the FM Offside network:

Over on Run of Play, Brian’s quest to return Pro Vercelli to former glories continues. He was involved in what sounds like the most dramatic playoff in the history of football, with an M. Nigh Shyamalanesque twist at the end.

At TTTFM, Vitaliy is back in the Prem with his revamped Hull City, and also has a handy guide to which Premier League teams use which tactics.
