First of all, Happy New Year everyone. Hope 2009 brings you success both in real life and in FM.

Welcome to FM BlogWatch. Haven’t done this before, but will be doing it regularly from here on out, so… here’s a quick roundup of how my fellow FM09 bloggers are doing:

Over at Run of Play, Brian was being stalked by World Soccer, who were probably fascinated by the rookie American manager on a neverending unbeaten run in Serie C2A. Congrats to Brian on winning the title and promotion without losing a game.

The brave blogger at TFM got relegated with Hull, but didn’t get the sack and didn’t quit. So now they’ve made a promise to get promoted or resign after doing a massive summer squad makeover and implementing a some new tactics. Should make for some good fizzy-drink-division drama.

As usual, TFM also has some excellent posts about general FM features, like this one about Player Preferred Moves.

If there are any other (good) FM blogs out there (either yours or someone else’s) please let me know in the comments.

Also, a quick update on the plan to expand FM Offside into a network of blogs… That’s definitely going to happen soonish, so if you’re interested in writing an FM blog here on The Offside then get in touch via daryl[at]theoffside[dot]com. More details to follow once we get things figured out.

So I’m sick of dealing with Robinho’s constant underachieving and overall suckyness. I’ve brought in Sergio Aguero to take his place. Thing is, I want to get rid of Robinho ASAP since he drains my wage budger (200.000 pounds a week! Plus 20k App and Goal bonuses!) So I’m set to offer him to clubs, what should I use as an asking price? Here are his current stats: http://img58.imageshack.us/my.php?image=robingaydk0.jpg

I am also having problems with my digital robinho. After one season of underachieving and finishing in 9th he wanted to jump ship. I refused to sell him and even turned down a $65 million move to Chelsea. I still have him and in my second season City is 4th at the halfway point, he still wants out though, I might have to sell him too.
