FM BlogWatch: Jan 29th, 2009

Time for another look around the world of FM2009 blogging.

First, we have the first blog in the FM Offside network* up and running with FM Offside 2, where Mike has been spending the oil money at Man City. See his head-hurting shopping list here. Mike has also landed the Nigerian national team job, and has very quickly learned the importance of including at least one goalkeeper in your squad.

Over at TFM, Vitaliy has got Hull promoted back to the Premier League, and also taken on the Cote d’Ivoire job. Am I the only one without an African national team to manage?

No, I’m not. Unless Brian Run of Play has taken the Cameroon job without telling anyone. But I’m pretty sure he’s too busy watching his team become the Middlesbrough of Serie C1 to dabble in the world of international management.

*We’re going to slowly but surely expand the network, so thanks to everyone for your patience (unless you’ve been impatient, in which case thanks for nothing.)

2nd season with Newcastle, mid january, joint with Man Utd, They are above me on goal difference and currently sitting 4th.

But, good news is – Man City & Arsenal, two other teams in the top 4 are currently playing absolute shite (ignoring the fact that Arsenal beat me during their shite form..) So I feel a Champions League place isn’t impossible! ;)
