Letter of Resignation

By: Daryl | August 7th, 2009

I tried to resign as digital Newcastle manager back in May, but got talked out of it. Since then I’ve tried to make time and keep this blog going, but turns out there just aren’t enough hours in the day.

So… I want to extend my original offer again. Is anyone out there interested in taking over this Newcastle game I’ve got going right now, and blogging about it here on Football Manager Offside? If so, I’d be more than happy to send you a flash drive with my saved game on it.

If there are no takers, we could also open up this blog to a whole new game with a whole new blogger. Though I’d much rather see The Pog, Lewandowski, Marquinhos et al continue here on this page.

Anyone interested, please send a convincing email to daryl[at]theoffside[dot]com

Is the virtual Fleckdinho giving you as much trouble as he’s giving Walter No Surname Smith?

Fleck was a model pro for me. No complaints at all.

sounds tempting, except for the fact it would be like Kenny Dalglish ( You ) being replaced by Graeme Souness ( me ).

Might not go over so well.

As a Newcastle fan myself I would love to carry this on, but I know that come the end of summer I wouldn’t have enough time to carry this on either, unfortunately.

I only discovered this blog a few weeks back and it made my working day a whole lot more bearable. It really is a fantastic read Daryl!
I want to take it on but, as others have said, I just haven’t got enough time.
