Let him have fun with some heavy intensive training especially tactics and that will give him some idea what sorta game you want him to play. As long as u play him everynow and then as a super sub he wont bitch that he isnt getting first team footie and at the same time improve his game. If he doesnt want to go on loan and u having difficulties with him , use him as a sub whenever needed but at the same time up his training.
