The Official Hassle Daryl Thread

By: Daryl | February 25th, 2009

OK, so here’s the deal:

I’ve got no problem with the occasional comments reminding me about emails and new FM Offside blogs and such, and wouldn’t disagree that a quick friendly hassle is usually the best (maybe only?) way to get a timely response.

But it is sort of ruining the flow of comments with all the off-topic-ness.

So, new rule:

From now on, if anyone needs to chase me up about anything email or FM blog related please do so by leaving a comment on this page and this page only.

And if any regular readers/commenters see a hassle comment (as they are now called) beneath a regular post, please kindly redirect the commenter to this hassle-tastic page.

I’ll be bookmarking it and checking it every day. Promise.

And you two are officially banned from this page now. Unless you want me to set you up with FM blogs.

You can ban them, but I’d like to see you try and ban me, so if either of them have any hassling statements, they know where to send them. :)

    Oh, two more things.

    1) I always love the photos you choose. Your brain is so…non-linear.

    2) I am kind of troubled by the fact that I always know why you picked each individual photo.

    Daryl,
    there’s a problem with fcum.
The team is there but the league they play in is not.
Can i do Toronto FC? As there are no MLS FM blogs, it will be a new idea.

How do you send players on loan to a feeder club?

    Tommy, Yad,

Will get back to you via email tomorrow.

    Aaron,

When you right-click on a player’s name, there’ll be an option “move to affiliate”.

But that’s only if your affiliate agreement includes the loaning of players. Some are purely for commercial reasons (eg you sell their shirts and they sell yours) so there’s no option to make loan moves there.

Hi Daryl, Not hassling merely reminding about Bilbao FM game. Also I wouldnt mind posting on the WAGs page, I feel I have all the right credentials to look at and judge semi-naked women.

Hi there daryl, Ive been reading and commenting on your blog since it’s inception in Dec 2008(cant believe its been that long). Anyway I would like to start a blog on the offside, i have plenty of time to play and write and i hope that a blog could rekindle my joy for the game, at the moment i am between save games and I cant really decide wich to play, so i would leave it in your hands to decide
Portsmouth – Average english team that always seems to lose its stars in the summer, i think i can push for a regular euro cup place and bring some joy to the south of england
Atl Madrid – A Few great players but poor squad depth, possibly building the squad to challenge the big 2 for the la liga and european title
Chelsea – The team I support in real life, with the squad aging, I want to breath some fresh air into the west londoners and try win the unprecedented quadruple
I look forward to hearing from you. Any suggestions welcome.
    cheers
    Herman
